It's great to have you back! I'm curious as to how his spirit was placed in her body? Hypnosis could be a cool explanation as many shamanistic cultures and occult groups saw hypnosis as weakening the link between a persons mind and their spirit. In this state they were open to influence by other spirits (like ghosts or demons). So maybe the "guy" was a hypnotist and he put kim under a deep enough trance that she was able to channel and be completely possessed by Trevor.
